Opened in 1952, Eddie's Chevron has been in business serving as a service and gas station in Chama, New Mexico. There is no argument that Eddie's Chevron is one of the most successful and longest serving businesses in Chama with a customer base to keep you as busy as you would like. Over the past 72 years, Eddie's Chevron has been a staple of the community where many of the locals gather while fueling up, getting an oil change, putting on a new set of tires or just visiting over a cup of coffee. Anyone who has visited Chama has probably stopped at the local Chevron gas station to refuel or get some snacks for the trip ahead. Located right at the main intersection of Chama, everyone passing through has had the opportunity to stop in. In 2006 the electrical system was upgraded with an addition of the canopy over the pumps. In 2019 Eddie's Chevron updated their pumps and point of sale system. This station offers 8 unleaded gas pumps with 5 diesel pumps as well. Then in 2023 new storage tanks were installed. These tanks have the capability to store 10,000 gallons of unleaded fuel, 4,000 gallons of super/premium unleaded fuel and 6,000 gallons of diesel. Also on the property is an additional 2,000 gallon diesel storage tank. If the gas station isn't enough, the Twin Rivers Campground was later acquired in 1972. Twin Rivers Campground is located directly behind the Chevron gas station right next to the Rio Chamita. Twin Rivers Campground offers cabin and trailer rentals, RV spot hook ups and tent sites and two cabins. Now if the gas station and campground aren't meeting your needs, a laundry mat also sits on the property. This laundry mat has 5 dryers and 7 washers.
